Store listings, dated
Chumba has two store apps and no full app: Lite and Mini as listed
Chumba has no full app on the App Store or Google Play: it has Chumba Lite and Chumba Casino Mini, both from VGW Holdings. The latest versions are dated 17–18 December 2025, and the store pages we read on 11 September 2026 print the rest.
Chumba Casino Lite and Mini: two apps, no full app
On 11 September 2026 we looked up Chumba on both stores. The App Store and Google Play each list two apps from VGW: Chumba Casino Lite, which the App Store names Chumba Lite, and Chumba Casino Mini. A full Chumba Casino app is absent from both.
That matches Chumba's own wording. Terms and Conditions 27.0, dated 13 July 2026, refer to an App and an APK file, then add that those references apply only “if and when” the formats are offered or supported. Chumba's about-us page, in an archived copy of 7 February 2026, calls its games web browser games and says “No downloads required”.
What the store pages print
| App | Store and ID | Seller | Latest version | Size or downloads | Age label | Ratings the store prints |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chumba Lite – Casino games | App Store, id1477838355 | VGW Holdings Pty Ltd | 1.25.0, 18 December 2025 | 104.8 MB; iOS 14 or later | 18+ | 4.5 from 2,465 ratings |
| Chumba Casino Lite | Google Play, co.vgw.chumbalite | VGW Holdings | updated 17 December 2025 | 1M+ downloads | Teen; Simulated Gambling | 4.4 from 8.81K reviews |
| Chumba Casino Mini | App Store, id6503445375 | VGW Holdings Pty Ltd | 1.16.0, 18 December 2025 | 484.8 MB; iOS 13 or later | 18+ | 4.7 from 202 ratings |
| Chumba Casino Mini | Google Play, co.vgw.chumbamini | VGW Holdings | update date left unrecorded | 500K+ downloads; Contains ads | Teen | 4.3 from 1,307 ratings |
All four pages were read on 11 September 2026. The ratings are the stores' own figures from their users, copied as the stores show them.
Set side by side, the counts show where each app is used most. Chumba Lite has 2,465 ratings on iOS against 8.81K reviews on Google Play, and Mini has 202 ratings on iOS against 1,307 on Google Play. On both stores, Lite carries the larger count. The download figures point the same way: 1M+ for Lite on Google Play, 500K+ for Mini.
Chumba Lite: the smaller version
The App Store text says Chumba Lite comes from VGW Incubation and calls it “a faster and smaller version” of Chumba Casino. The same text mentions Sweeps Coins by name. At 104.8 MB on iOS, it is the lighter of the two downloads.
On Google Play the app appears as Chumba Casino Lite, with more than a million downloads and a Simulated Gambling content note. Its Google Play update is dated 17 December 2025, one day before iOS version 1.25.0. For most readers who search for Chumba Casino Lite, this is the app they mean.
Chumba Casino Mini: the compact preview
The App Store describes Chumba Casino Mini as a compact version of Chumba and as a “sneak peek”. Its iOS version 1.16.0 is dated 18 December 2025, the same day as Lite's. At 484.8 MB, the Mini download is larger than Lite's despite the name.
On Google Play, Mini carries a Contains ads label and more than 500,000 downloads. The store facts we recorded for Mini leave Sweeps Coins unmentioned, so whether Mini offers the prize coin stays an open field here.
The age labels and Chumba's 21 rule
The stores rate both apps 18+ on iOS and Teen on Google Play. Those are store content ratings, set by the stores' own systems. The account rule is Chumba's: Terms and Conditions 27.0, clause 3.1(a), requires players to be over 21, or the higher local age of majority where they live.
A download and an account are two separate things. The 21 floor applies to the account whatever label the store prints.
What the terms say about apps
Terms and Conditions 27.0 define the App as the mobile application downloaded from an app store, or installed from an APK file, the Android Package Kit format. Section 13 carries terms written for app stores, including that the store is not responsible for the app. The preamble's “if and when” wording lets one set of terms cover a build that is added or withdrawn.
Two practical points follow. A build published under VGW's developer name on an official store is the one the terms describe; an installer from any other source falls outside that description. The terms also leave open how an account moves between Lite, Mini and the browser. More on Chumba's apps and browser play is on the Chumba Casino app guide, and what sits inside the lobby is on Chumba Casino slots.
Apps at the alternatives
Where the alternatives' documents mention apps, each says something different. Pulsz's Terms of Use 5.2 of 1 September 2026, clause 6.10, place the coin balance “both on the Pulsz mobile application and on the Site”. High 5 Casino's Sweepstakes Official Rules 43.0 of 26 June 2026, rule 1.2, state that Apple and Google are not sponsors of the sweepstakes, a sentence written for store distribution. Fortune Wins' Terms and Conditions 4.8 of 31 July 2026 say the operator runs its website, a mobile application and services.
A mention in the terms and a listing on a store are two different facts. Which alternatives publish an app, and which run in the browser, is covered on apps like Chumba Casino.
How old the current builds are
Both iOS builds carry December 2025 dates: Chumba Lite 1.25.0 and Chumba Casino Mini 1.16.0 are each dated 18 December 2025, and the Google Play listing for Lite shows an update of 17 December 2025. On 11 September 2026, those were still the latest versions the store pages printed, close to nine months later.
A version date is the one app fact that is both published and dated. It also moves without an announcement, so a reader who wants the current figure can open the store on their own phone and check three things:
- The seller or developer name: VGW Holdings Pty Ltd on the App Store, VGW Holdings on Google Play.
- The version number and its date, shown on the listing.
- The app name: Chumba Lite or Chumba Casino Lite for the smaller build, Chumba Casino Mini for the compact one.
A listing under any other developer name is a different publisher's app, whatever its icon shows.
Which route suits which player
The three routes differ on size and scope, as their own pages print them. Chumba Lite is the smaller download and names Sweeps Coins in its store text. Chumba Casino Mini is the compact preview, with ads on Android. The browser needs no download at all, according to Chumba's about-us page. Whichever route a player picks, the same Terms and Conditions 27.0 cover it: the preamble names the platform, the App and the APK in one document, and the account rules inside it apply to all three.
If the app is the reason for looking elsewhere, the full list of sites like Chumba Casino compares each brand from its own documents. Every dated note like this one is on the blog.
