Free entry arithmetic
Why free entry at Chumba takes 20 requests before a first redemption
Chumba pays 5 Sweeps Coins per valid online entry request and redeems from 100 Sweeps Coins, so free entry alone takes 20 valid requests to reach a first redemption. Each coin must also be played once, and the balance lapses 60 days after the last log-on.
Chumba casino free SC: the numbers that decide it
Free Sweeps Coins at Chumba come down to a handful of printed numbers. We read them in Terms and Conditions 27.0 and Sweeps Rules 26.0, both dated 13 July 2026, on 8 September 2026.
| Number | Value | Document and clause |
|---|---|---|
| Sweeps Coins per valid online entry request | 5 | Sweeps Rules 26.0, cl. 3.2(d)(vi) |
| Redemption minimum | 100 eligible Sweeps Coins, or US$100 | Sweeps Rules 26.0, cl. 6.5; Terms and Conditions 27.0, cl. 8.2 |
| Value of a Sweeps Coin won in play | US$1 | Sweeps Rules 26.0, cl. 4.4 |
| Playthrough before a coin is eligible | 1×, raisable up to 20× | Sweeps Rules 26.0, cl. 4.6 |
| Expiry | 60 days from the last log-on | Terms and Conditions 27.0, cl. 8.22 |
| Redemption requests | one per account per 24 hours | Terms and Conditions 27.0, cl. 8.15 |
The first three rows produce the headline sum. The last three decide whether the sum holds in practice.
100 ÷ 5 = 20 valid requests
Divide the 100-coin floor by the 5 coins a valid request pays, and the answer is 20. For Chumba casino free SC, that is the number of valid online entry requests a player needs before free entry alone can fund a first redemption. The division is ours: Chumba prints the two numbers and leaves the sum to the reader.
Twenty is a floor, and two words in the rules push it higher. “Valid” carries weight, because illegible handwriting voids a request at the operator's discretion and a void request pays nothing. “Eligible” in clause 6.5 carries the rest, because a coin counts toward the 100 only after it has been played.
Other free routes shorten the count. The Daily Bonus in clause 3.2(c) and the Facebook giveaways in clause 3.2(b) add Sweeps Coins as well. The rules leave the Daily Bonus amount to the screen, so its effect stays outside the sum. How each route works is on Chumba Casino free coins.
What the 1× playthrough does to the count
Clause 4.6 requires every Sweeps Coin to be played once before it becomes eligible. After 20 valid requests, a player holds 100 Sweeps Coins that still have to go through play. Play can raise that balance or lower it, so the redeemable figure after one playthrough may land above 100 or below it.
If the balance falls under 100 eligible coins, more requests are needed to close the gap. The same clause lets the operator raise the playthrough to as much as 20 times. At 20×, 100 free Sweeps Coins would need 2,000 Sweeps Coins of play before redemption; at the standard 1×, the figure is 100.
The 60-day clock and the 24-hour gate
Terms and Conditions 27.0, clause 8.22, lets Sweeps Coins expire 60 days after the last log-on. The clock counts from the most recent sign-in rather than from the day the coins arrived, so a player who signs in to submit requests restarts it with each visit. That keeps a Chumba casino free SC balance alive for as long as the player keeps signing in. Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins are compared on Chumba Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins.
Once 100 eligible coins are there, clause 8.15 allows one redemption request per account in any 24 hours, and clause 8.16 gives the cash leg to a bank account up to 10 business days. The account also has to be verified before any redemption. Chumba's verification help page, in an archived copy of 7 March 2026, asks for a selfie, a photo ID and a proof of address dated within six months.
The documents and deadlines are on Chumba Casino verification, and each clock in the redemption path is on Chumba redemption time.
The same arithmetic at the alternatives
The division works for any brand that prints both numbers: the redemption minimum and the coins per free request. The table uses the newest copy of each operator's rules we had read by 10 September 2026.
| Brand | Free entry per request | Redemption minimum | Valid requests needed | Document and copy read |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chumba Casino | 5 SC, online | 100 SC | 20 | Sweeps Rules 26.0 (13 July 2026), read 8 September 2026 |
| LuckyLand Slots | 5 SC, online | 50 SC | 10 | Sweeps Rules 31.0 (13 July 2026), archived copy of 7 September 2026 |
| Fortune Wins | 500 FC, by post | 5,000 FC | 10 | Sweeps Rules 4.7 (13 August 2026), archived copy of 5 September 2026 |
| High 5 Casino | 3 SC, by post | 100 SC cash; 50 SC non-cash | 34 cash; 17 non-cash | Sweepstakes Official Rules 43.0 (26 June 2026), archived copy of 5 September 2026 |
| Spree | 4 Spree Coins, by post | 100 cash; 10 gift card | 25 cash; 3 gift card | Sweepstakes Official Rules 1.8.1 (16 December 2025), archived copy of 30 April 2026 |
| Crown Coins | 1 SC, by post | 100 SC or 50 SC, both printed | 100 or 50 | Sweepstakes Policy 1.0 (16 July 2024), archived copy of 29 August 2024 |
| Stake.us | 5 Stake Cash, by post | no figure printed (cl. 13.3(a)) | open | Terms and Conditions 18.0 (10 July 2026), archived copy of 8 September 2026 |
| RealPrize | 1 Sweep Coin, by post | US$100 cash; US$45 gift card | open, as the coin's dollar rate is unprinted | Promotional Play Rules 2.8 (1 January 2026), archived copy of 10 March 2026 |
Where the division leaves a remainder, the count rounds up. High 5's 100 ÷ 3 is 33.3, so the 34th request reaches the floor; Spree's gift-card floor of 10 ÷ 4 is 2.5, so the 3rd does.
The requests are only half the comparison. Each brand's playthrough changes what the coins must do next:
- LuckyLand Slots sets 1× with a ceiling of 20× (Sweeps Rules 31.0, clause 4.6), the same wording as Chumba. It was reported closing by CasinoBeats on 28 July 2026, with access and redemptions ending on 14 September 2026.
- Fortune Wins sets playthrough at its own discretion (Sweeps Rules 4.7, clause 4.5) and verifies identity before it credits a mail request.
- High 5 Casino counts only Sweeps Coins won through game play toward a redemption (rule 7.4).
- Stake.us requires Stake Cash to be played three times before redemption (Terms and Conditions 18.0, clause 13.1(c)), so each free coin carries three times Chumba's play.
- Spree and RealPrize both set 1×.
What the arithmetic leaves out
Postal routes add mail time and crediting time: RealPrize allows up to 20 days to credit a written request. Handwriting rules differ from brand to brand, and each brand voids requests that break its own. The sums also leave out daily bonuses, whose amounts most rules leave to the screen.
We have not submitted free-entry requests at any brand, Chumba included; every number above is the rules' own arithmetic, dated. The brands themselves, compared on redemption, verification and free entry, are on the list of casinos like Chumba. The earlier note on how Chumba's free entry moved from the post into the app is the Chumba mail-in route is gone.
