Dated notes
Blog: Chumba Casino’s rules, its sister sites and the sites like it
4 dated notes on Chumba Casino: the mail-in route that disappeared in 2026, the 20 entry requests behind a first redemption, Chumba Lite and Mini, and LuckyLand Slots closing while Chumba stays. Every figure carries the date we read it.
- LuckyLand Slots shuts on 14 September 2026, and Chumba Casino carries on
LuckyLand Slots, Chumba's sister brand at VGW, was reported closing on 28 July 2026: purchases ended 3 August, play 24 August, and access and redemptions end 14 September 2026. Chumba, Global Poker and LuckyLand Casino continue, and a Chumba balance is untouched.
- Chumba has two store apps and no full app: Lite and Mini as listed
Chumba has no full app on the App Store or Google Play: it has Chumba Lite and Chumba Casino Mini, both from VGW Holdings. The latest versions are dated 17–18 December 2025, and the store pages we read on 11 September 2026 print the rest.
- Why free entry at Chumba takes 20 requests before a first redemption
Chumba pays 5 Sweeps Coins per valid online entry request and redeems from 100 Sweeps Coins, so free entry alone takes 20 valid requests to reach a first redemption. Each coin must also be played once, and the balance lapses 60 days after the last log-on.
- Chumba's postal free entry is gone: what Sweeps Rules 26.0 asks for instead
Chumba's Sweeps Rules 21.0 of 30 December 2025 still printed a postal address for free Sweeps Coins, at 5 SC a request. Version 26.0 of 13 July 2026 dropped the post and moved free entry into the app, still at 5 SC per valid request.
